I'm so glad you're here. And I bet I know exactly how you've been feeling.
And it's not your fault if you're frustrated. This online business ish can be HARD.
After five years spent growing my digital marketing agency, I learned first-hand exactly how challenging it can be to function as a solopreneur, working day and night to keep up - wondering if I'd ever "get it right".
Over time, I’ve learned how to manage a growing marketing business, raise my three spirited kiddos (ages 7 and under!), while scrapping the “business as usual” trade of hours for dollars – I’ve mastered how to make more money, while working less.
I have my best ideas on the treadmill or while I'm out doing things that are not related to actually working - so I decided to do more of that. (And less banging my head on a keyboard waiting for the answers to magically appear - spoiler alert, they never will in that environment!)
No matter what any guru, hustler or shark may tell you about growing a business, the truth is that it starts with building relationships with other humans and a journey towards self-discovery and some serious self-love.
I invite you to sit at my table, because we've got some stories to share.
Our generation has been given an amazing opportunity in entrepreneurship that’s never before been available. We live in a reality where the number of lives we impact can be directly reflected by the dollars in our bank accounts.
Prosperity, by Webster’s definition, is about money - profitability, affluence and luxury, yes, but it also means living the good life and existing in a state of well-being.
We believe personal and business growth are a beautiful experiment based on trial, error and finding joy in the lessons we’re taught along the way.
We’ve learned that the business we grow can directly impact our families, marriages and building the freedom-based life of our dreams.
This is not a pass or fail test, but a journey in learning to trust and enjoy the process.
We believe the state of prosperity is meant to be uniquely defined by each human individual, and I want to explore those paths towards living our best lives.
means to me :
I've got a handsome, hard-working hubby who can fix or build just about anything (former farm boy!). Together we've got big dreams of building our empire.
Then there are those three beautiful little faces that call me mama - (mama, mommy, mom.. over and over again). My babies aren't quite babies anymore, at almost 7, 4 and 2, but I still relish in their snuggles, volunteering in their classrooms and field trips and I absolutely love taking them on adventures.
I love working out - more specifically weight lifting and fitness classes.
Cardio? How about cardi-NO.
And because I can't ever just "get into" a hobby without giving it my all, I'll be walking on stage for my first fitness competition (glittery bikini and all...) in April of 2019.
Bring on the protein powder, chicken breasts and broccoli.
My traveling has slowed WAAAAY down with having three kiddos 6 and under, but I still love to board an airplane - anywhere.
In college, I studied art in the Czech Republic for a semester and toured Europe on the weekends (sounds posh - but it was via dirt-cheap train tickets and semi-questionable hostels).
I also spent a summer interning at a graphic design agency in Dublin, Ireland. Sláinte!
If you ask my kids to tell you their favorite thing about the weekends - without a doubt, they'll yell "CINNAMON ROLL SATURDAY!!!" We have a tradition in our house where we bake fresh cinnamon rolls, share two of them, then deliver the rest to our neighborhood. We love baking (and fun traditions!) in this house.
I also love cooking a gourmet Paleo meal and generally follow a fairly strict eating regime (though those cinnamon rolls sure smell delicious!)
